Job summary

ReaderLink is seeking an Equipment Operator for its high-volume distribution center. The role involves safe operation of sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and related equipment to support efficient warehousing tasks.

Candidates should have prior warehouse forklift experience, be able to pass the ReaderLink safety certification, and possess basic computer skills with WMS, RF, and scanning. The position requires flexibility for overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks in a warehouse is preferred.
• Must pass the ReaderLink Powered Industrial Truck Safety & Certification training course to obtain a license valid for three years.
• Basic computer skills with WMS, RF and scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, retrieve, stack and store products in an neat, safe and productive manner.
• Operate powered sit-down forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks and pallet jacks according to OSHA rules.
• Transport products or supplies to designated areas to support operations.
• Use pallet wrapping machinery, floor scales, RF equipment, dock equipment and utility knife.
• Perform forklift operator daily checklists on assigned equipment.
• Report accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions.
• Maintain general housekeeping and communicate effectively with customers to support operations.
• Work overtime including weekends when required.
• Perform basic counting and arithmetic tasks.
