Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Loss Prevention professional to patrol the property, assist guests with access, and monitor CCTV, alarms, and safety systems.

You will respond to incidents, document reports, and coordinate with EMS when needed; you may escort unwelcome persons and help maintain a safe guest experience. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Complete the required State Security Guard training and submit a favorable application with all supporting documents within the first 30 days of employment.
• Valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Patrols all areas of the property; assists owner/guests with room access.
• Monitors Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system.
• Responds to accidents, contacts EMS or administers first aid/CPR as required.
• Assists owner/guests/associates during emergency situations and defuses disturbances.
• Completes incident reports to document Loss Prevention related incidents and reports to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts.
• Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; completes safety training and certifications.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job description

Hourly Rate: $31.72

Hourly Wage: $31.72

$2000 SIGN ON BONUS

This bonus is for new hires. Internal candidates, college programs, rehires and managers are excluded. Payments are in $1000 increments at 90 and 180 days, paid on the following paycheck. If eligible, you must be actively employed and actively performing services for the Company on the applicable eligibility date at the time the payment is made.

JOBSUMMARY

Patrols all areas of the property; assists owner/guests with room access. Monitors Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. Locks property entrances when required. Conducts daily physical hazard inspections. Responds to accidents, contacts EMS or administers first aid/CPR as required. Assists owner/guests/associates during emergency situations. Notifies appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Defuses owner/guest/associate disturbances. Calls for outside assistance if necessary. Completes incident reports to document all Loss Prevention related incidents. Handles all interruptions and complaints. Resolves safety hazard situations. Escorts any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation. Reports to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts. Calls for assistance using proper code responses. Completes a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report. Maintains confidentiality of all Loss Prevention and property reports/documents; releases information only to authorized individuals. Conducts investigations and gathers evidence. Conducts interviews with relevant parties.
