Job summary

Greater Philadelphia Health Action (GPHA) seeks a Safety and Security Officer for our Philadelphia, PA location to protect patients, staff and facilities. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and at least three years of security officer experience or an equivalent training program.

You will handle disruptive situations using de-escalation techniques, maintain safety protocols, and support health center operations within the Dental Division.

We are presently seekingSafety and Security Officersin our Dental Division at the 5501 Woodland Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19143 location.

We are looking for individuals that want to grow and develop with the division.

Candidates must obtain a high school diploma (or GED) and at least three years' experience as a security officer or certification from a security officer training program. Knowledgeable of Safety and Security requirements and continue learning through it. Must be able to deal with people effectively and professionally. Dealing with disruptive patients or visitors peacefully by applying de-escalation skills. Maintenance and Custodial Services and health center operations. The ability to anticipate a problem/situation and use preventive intervention effectively. CPR certified.
