Job summary

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the site's Health & Safety, Process Safety Management (PSM) and security strategy, translating key risks into measurable priorities and improvement plans.
• Develop a team of four direct reports while building safety ownership and accountability across operations, maintenance and site leadership.
• Strengthen OSHA, PSM, DOT, emergency response and security programs, maintaining regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement through risk assessment, root cause investigations, audits, corrective actions and close involvement in plant and capital projects.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Risk Management or a related discipline, with 10+ years of Health & Safety experience in chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing or a related environment.
• Proven Process Safety experience, including participation in Process Hazard Analysis, alongside strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification, with previous safety leadership experience.
• Strong Root Cause Analysis capability and the ability to influence operations, maintenance, engineering and leadership stakeholders.
