Centro, Inc. is seeking a proactive Safety & 5S Lean Continuous Improvement Coordinator to promote a strong safety culture at our Claremont, NC manufacturing site.

The role focuses on implementing safety programs, OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees. The ideal candidate will develop and deliver safety training, coordinate with the Safety Team, and support workers' compensation efforts

Qualifications

• Knowledge of occupational safety and health principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on action items.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of workplace safety across all departments.
• Ensure implementation of safety strategies and action plans to meet safety goals.
• Develop, coordinate, and facilitate safety training programs for employees.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
