Job summary

Swift Supply, Inc. is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Driver to join our Delivery team in Daphne, AL. This hourly role focuses on safe, on-time deliveries of lumber and building materials using flatbed or box trucks, with attention to product condition and customer service.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure loads, verify delivery tickets, and maintain accurate delivery logs. The job requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to meet physical demands, and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with no major moving violations.
• 2+ years proven experience with similar equipment and environment is preferred.
• Able to pass DOT drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed or box truck in DOT, state, and company regulations.
• Load, secure, and deliver building materials to customers’ job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report safety concerns.
• Verify delivery tickets match materials loaded.
• Unload materials and deliver to the agreed location.
• Assist forklift operators during loading/unloading when needed.
• Maintain delivery logs with mileage, time, and details.
• Relay messages between customers and the company.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
