Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners seeks a Sr. Scrum Master to guide a high-visibility Digital Agent initiative focused on Agentic AI capabilities within a major energy/utilities client.

Lead Agile ceremonies, align with architects, engineers, product leadership, and executives, and drive delivery in a complex program. The role requires servant leadership, strong facilitation, and a data-driven approach to manage dependencies and risks while translating technical details for business stakeholders.

Our client, a leading energy and utilities organization, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a high-visibility Digital Agent initiative focused on Agentic AI capabilities.

This role requires a servant leader who can operate comfortably in a complex, fast-paced environment while partnering effectively with technical teams, product leadership, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded Agile leader who can balance Agile leadership, technical understanding, stakeholder management, data-driven decision making, and project execution to help drive successful outcomes for a strategic AI-focused initiative.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Scrum Master and servant leader supporting highly technical product and engineering teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and create an environment that promotes collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with technical teams, product leadership, stakeholders, and executive leadership to maintain alignment and drive delivery.
• Support delivery of strategic capabilities associated with Digital Agent and Agentic AI initiatives.
• Help teams navigate ambiguity, changing priorities, evolving requirements, and complex delivery challenges.
• Operate at a program level to coordinate dependencies, risks, impediments, and delivery activities across teams and workstreams.
• Proactively identify and address delivery risks, blockers, dependencies, and stakeholder concerns.
• Provide visibility into delivery progress, key risks, dependencies, and overall initiative health.
• Prepare and communicate executive-level delivery updates and release readiness status.
• Use delivery data and metrics to support decision making, identify trends, and improve delivery outcomes.
• Build strong relationships across technical and business organizations to facilitate collaboration and alignment.
• Engage effectively with architects, engineers, platform teams, infrastructure teams, product leaders, and other technical stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical information into clear communications for business stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Support project execution and strategic delivery activities beyond traditional Scrum Master responsibilities when needed.
• Help establish structure and maintain delivery momentum within an evolving and highly visible initiative.

Required Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to engage effectively with architects, engineers, platform teams, infrastructure teams, and product leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, complex, and fast-paced environments with changing priorities and evolving requirements.
• Proven experience managing complex dependencies, risks, impediments, and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience providing executive-level delivery updates, release readiness status, and key risk communications.
• Strong Agile leadership and Scrum Master capabilities with a demonstrated servant leadership mindset.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across business and technology organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to use data and delivery metrics to support decision making and improve outcomes.
• Ability to wear multiple hats and step beyond traditional Scrum Master responsibilities when necessary to support delivery success.
