Job summary

Cornerstone Defense in Bethesda, MD is seeking an experienced Agile Program Manager to lead enterprise SAFe transformations and drive agile capabilities across teams. You will guide SAFe ceremonies, mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners, and partner with leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes for critical defense programs.

The role requires TS/SCI with poly, a strong background in Agile/SAFe, and a proven track record of transforming large portfolios.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required to apply.
10+ years of related experience with at least 5 years implementing Agile methodologies across portfolio, program and project levels.
SAFe certifications (e.g., POPM, RTE, SSM, SA) are required.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and transformation of SAFe across multiple organizations.
Facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt.
Coach Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership on SAFe practices.
Develop and deliver SAFe training programs to build Agile capabilities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize program and portfolio backlogs.
Identify impediments and drive continuous improvement across teams.
Track KPIs to measure Agile transformation maturity.
