Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Lead Agilist to oversee agile execution across multiple task orders within PMO. You will guide teams in adopting agile mindsets, drive delivery leadership for IDIQ programs, and champion continuous improvement through metrics and coaching.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in fast‑paced agile environments, strong SAFe and Scrum experience, and a proven track record of leading large initiatives and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a fast‑paced Agile development environment.
• 5+ years deploying enterprise‑wide reporting tools and visualizations.
• 5+ years leading teams with ability to plan, organize, and implement significant strategic initiatives.
• Experience coordinating schedules, workflows, and cross‑team planning.
• Skilled in backlog management and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational execution of agile methodology across all task orders.
• Guide teams in using agile methodologies as a mindset, not just a framework.
• Provide Agile/SAFe delivery leadership across the IDIQ.
• Manage cadence, planning, and execution for teams and programs.
• Drive metrics, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor, and set standards for teams.
• Coordinate alignment across task orders and shared services.
