Job summary

The American Red Cross invites applications for a Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) Specialist, Mobile at Fort Meade, MD. This deployable role requires medical and security clearances and worldwide deployment as part of mobile staff.

Overseas assignments are typically six months, approximately every 18–24 months, with no relocation assistance. The role focuses on managing SAF/IS programs, coordinating with military leadership, supervising volunteers, and ensuring high-quality service to service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum related experience: 5 years.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills required.
• Familiarity with military culture and protocol preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with military leadership and installation partners.
• Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and recognize volunteers.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery to service members and families.
• Coordinate deployment readiness and educational briefings.
• Support SAF/IS programs and manage casework and reporting.
