Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are hiring SAF/IS Reserve employees to join our elite mobile workforce supporting military personnel and DOD civilians overseas. Deployment locations include Kuwait, Djibouti, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, and Lithuania. Deployments occur twice a year, with the next anticipated in 2026. These are remote positions with a commitment of approximately 6 months per deployment. Candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S. or U.S. Territories.

Responsibilities:
  • Emergency Communications: Facilitate communication between military personnel and their families.
  • Morale & Welfare: Develop and support programs such as hospital visits, events, and distribution of donated items.
  • Relationship Management: Represent the Red Cross and collaborate with military command structures.
  • Volunteer Management: Supervise volunteers, including recruitment, training, and recognition.
  • Deployment Readiness: Maintain readiness through training, medical requirements, and certifications. Be prepared to deploy on short notice, including in conflict areas.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years related experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, able to obtain a secret security clearance, and possess a no-fee U.S. passport.
  • Willingness to work worldwide, including conflict zones.
  • Meet strict medical and physical requirements, including immunizations.
  • May be required to wear military uniforms and live in harsh environments.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $47,900 - $50,000. Deployment and readiness incentives are available during deployment. Benefits include health plans, PTO, holidays, 401K, paid family leave, and more.

Additional Information:

This position requires a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense CAC card prior to deployment.
