Schumann Printers in Fall River, Wisconsin is hiring an experienced Saddle Stitch Operator for our Finishing Department. The role is on-site in Fall River with a second shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, full-time and overtime as needed.

The position offers an hourly wage of $20.00–$27.00, paid on-the-job training, and regular wage increases at performance milestones within a climate-controlled workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior machine operation experience in commercial binding.
• Experience operating SP-1000, Tempo, Primera MC/Pro, ST-400 or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate high-speed saddle stitch and binding equipment.
• Review job tickets and specifications to verify trim sizes, pocket layouts, and stitch placement.
• Monitor line quality, making mechanical adjustments to maintain production standards.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
• Direct pocket feeders and general laborers on your line.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area.
