Job summary

O2EPCM, Inc. dba O2 Engineering, Projects & Construction Management is seeking field-inspection personnel for road-based water utility projects in Sacramento, CA. The role offers an hourly pay of $60.00 to $70.00 per hour and an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include water main inspections, troubleshooting, hot tapping, pipeline installations and repairs, hydrostatic testing, and ensuring project compliance with codes and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have project experience in tank and sanitation.
• Must be able to read drawings, plans and permits.
• Must be able to prepare daily inspection reports using Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Water utility, pipeline, and water meter inspections.
• Troubleshoot water utilities.
• Hot tapping on existing water mains.
• Install, replace, and repair water pipelines.
• Hydrostatic pressure testing.
• Inspect pipelines including Ductile Iron.
• Oversee general contractors and ensure compliance with codes, docs, contracts, and client specs.

Job description

Work Location: On the road (Sacramento, CA)

Duties:

• Water Utility/Pipeline/Water Meter Inspection.
• Utilities Water Troubleshooting.
• Hot tapping on existing watermains.
• Water system installation of new pipelines, replacement, and repairs.
• Hydrostatic Pressure testing.
• Inspection of various types of pipelines including Ductile Iron pipe.
• Inspecting various projects that include but are not limited to WatermainReplacements, Developers, Reservoirs, New Installations, etc.
• Overseeing General Contractors.
• Ensuring that the projects are in compliance with the codes, constructiondocuments, contracts and meets client’s specifications.
