Job summary

Comal Independent School District's SACC program seeks a Site Supervisor to help plan and implement program policies on site(s). You will supervise a small staff, oversee scheduling, tailor enrichment activities, handle discipline issues, and liaise between the site lead, staff, SACC leadership, and enrolled families.

You may fill in for the Site Lead when necessary. The role requires strong organizational skills, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience in childcare or CISD/SACC settings.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates
• 2-years of childcare facility instruction experience OR At least 1-year of experience with CISD or the SACC program
• Experience using a technology such as a personal computer with word processing and spreadsheet software, web-based programming, email, and Microsoft suite programs

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the site at designated time and ensure the area is ready.
• Provide training for staff and communicate expectations clearly.
• Maintain an orderly environment conducive to growth and development of children.
• Represent SACC and the district positively at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by program leadership or site lead.
• Assist in planning and conducting daily enrichment and activities for children.
• Prepare materials to implement daily activities and ensure supplies are available.
• Manage distribution and collection of games and materials.
• Supervise Site Aides/Substitutes/Volunteers and assist in staff evaluation.
