Job summary

Montana Department of Administration is seeking an Accountant with SABHRS experience to join our team, ensuring SABHRS modules meet accounting needs across state government.

You will translate business requirements to SABHRS programming, work with state accountants, and collaborate with the SABHRS team in a supportive environment that balances work and personal life. Telework is available with weekly in-office days in Helena.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field required or two years if applicable experience.
• Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, configuration, and testing for SABHRS modules.
• Focus on meeting business needs of stakeholders.
• Test components to determine system performance.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions.
• Research emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
• Provide technical support and project management.
