Job summary

The State of Montana Department of Administration is seeking an experienced Accounting Systems Analyst to translate business needs into SABHRS configurations and support SABHRS development.

You will work with the 6 Financial Systems Analysts, oversee installations, testing, and troubleshooting, and provide leadership and training as needed.

This role offers telework with weekly in-office days in Helena, a salary range of 80,000 to 83,000, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field with two years experience.
• Associate’s degree in accounting with four years experience.
• Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the installation, configuration, and testing for SABHRS modules.
• Focusing on meeting the business needs of our stakeholders.
• Testing components to determine system performance.
• Trouble‑shooting system issues.
• Providing solutions to the State’s business process issues.
• Conducting research about existing and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and efficiencies.
• Technical support and project management.
• Accounting and SABHRS experience are crucial; training provided for the technical aspects.
