The Department of Administration is seeking an experienced Recruiter to manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and collaborating on hiring decisions. This role works closely with department leadership and HR Business Partners to proactively identify hiring needs and ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent while maintaining a strong talent pipeline. This role will be responsible for ensuring jobs are classified properly in compliance with applicable occupational and FLSA standards.
Bachelor’s in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a related field; plus, three or more years of related work experience. Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis. Certification to perform job classifications for the State of Montana is required. If certification is not held at the time of hire, it must be obtained within six (6) months of starting the role.
