Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4+ years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• 5+ years in procurement/strategic sourcing with a focus on software; SaaS procurement experience is a plus.
• Government procurement: FAR-compliant environments and government contracting experience.
• Negotiations: terms/conditions for software, pricing constructs, usage/true-up, and renewal mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the SaaS/AI application sourcing team with vendor selection, negotiations, and RFPs.
• Own complex SaaS negotiations and agreements (EULAs/SLAs/DPAs/Order Forms/Master Agreements).
• Ensure compliance with FAR and government contracting requirements.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, TCO analyses, and risk assessments.
• Manage pipeline, renewals calendar, dashboards, metrics, and reporting.
• Standardize procurement playbooks, templates, and checklists; drive automation and improvements.
• Prepare leadership-ready briefings for executive engagements with strategic suppliers.
• Mentor and escalate for SaaS sourcing team development.
