Job summary

Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO seeks an Applications Integration Engineer to support Banner Student in Ellucian Cloud and related applications. You will translate regulatory, accessibility, security, and data governance requirements into reliable technical solutions, develop integrations and automated processes, and guide production operations.

The role partners with project teams and IT staff to design, implement, and maintain secure data exchanges, pipelines, and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or related field.
• 3+ years in configuring, integrating, or supporting enterprise applications with API-based integrations.
• Experience with SQL, programming or scripting, and cloud-based or SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with security and data governance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage Banner integrations and production pipelines between Banner and third-party systems.
• Develop secure integrations, workflows, and automated processes using Ellucian tools.
• Provide Level 2 support for Banner SaaS and campus-wide applications.
• Document configurations, pipelines, and support procedures for maintenance.
• Coordinate testing, deployments, and post-release support with stakeholders.
