Job summary

Colorado School of Mines is seeking an Applications Services engineer to serve as the technical expert for Banner Student in the Ellucian Cloud, handling integrations and automated workflows. The role translates business, regulatory, accessibility, security, and data governance needs into reliable technical solutions and supports production pipelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or a closely related field.
3+ years of professional experience developing, configuring, integrating, or supporting enterprise applications.
Experience with API-based integrations, SQL, programming or scripting, and cloud-based or SaaS platforms.
Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain Banner integrations and scheduled processing between Banner and third-party systems.
Configure production pipelines, scripted events, and automated processes for reliable operation.
Provide Level 2 support for Banner Student and related applications.
Collaborate with teams to diagnose issues and implement approved configuration changes.
