Job summary

Strata Decision Technology, LLC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support our infrastructure for SaaS platforms. You will drive reliability, performance, and scalability across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments while collaborating with Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, and Engineering teams.

You will automate deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to modernization and DR strategies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in infrastructure, systems, cloud, or site reliability engineering.
• Experience with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ansible, Salt, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong observability, monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning skills.
• Able to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.
• Automation-minded with focus on reliability and efficiency.
• Curious, fast learner, and able to adapt to new tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support infrastructure for SaaS applications.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, and deployment processes.
• Apply reliability practices across observability, alerting, and DR.
• Troubleshoot production issues across multiple technologies.
• Automate deployments, upgrades, and maintenance using IaC tools.
• Identify technical debt and single points of failure and address them.
• Monitor system performance and optimize for cost and efficiency.
• Contribute to modernization across cloud, virtualization, and containers.
• Develop runbooks, SOPs, and architecture diagrams.
• Contribute to the Infrastructure team's long-term roadmap.
