Job summary

Finatal is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the accounting function in a fast-growing PE-backed SaaS company. You will own close processes, GAAP reporting, revenue recognition (ASC 606) for subscription/usage models, and NetSuite Billing optimization. Remote role with Eastern Time hours. CPA preferred; 10+ years exp in scalable finance ops.

You will partner with CFO and investors to drive financial insights, controls, and scalable processes as revenue grows from $20M toward $100M.

Qualifications

• ASC 606 revenue recognition expertise for SaaS/subscription and usage models.
• Experience in private equity-backed companies preferred.
• Experience leading annual audits and building scalable accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, revenue accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage external audit activities and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and accounting partners.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and internal controls in a scaling environment.
• Partner with executives and investors to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
• Lead NetSuite Billing implementation and optimization to improve reporting and efficiency.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting in collaboration with FP&A.
