Swayable, a dynamic AI and data science platform based in New York, is looking for a Controller to manage financial operations. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, payroll processing, and accounting functions in collaboration with external teams.

The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 5–8 years of experience, possessing deep accounting knowledge and detail-oriented skills. Responsibilities span from managing the month-end close to financial statement preparation. A competitive salary between $140K and $185K is offered.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry.
• Deep technical accounting knowledge including GL management and reconciliations.
• Experience with subscription revenue and ASC 606 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee external accounting team and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and post adjusting journal entries and accruals.
• Coordinate full month-end close process with external team.
