Job summary

TalentEdge is partnering with a high-growth software company in New York to appoint a Controller who will take ownership of the accounting function and drive scalable processes. The role reports to the CFO and focuses on building robust controls, close processes, and accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates have 7–10+ years in accounting within SaaS, experience as Controller or senior accounting leader, and deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606. NetSuite experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years accounting experience, ideally Big 4/public accounting plus high-growth SaaS/software.
• Previous Controller, Assistant Controller or senior accounting leadership experience in SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 and technical accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting operations in New York and take responsibility for close, reporting, and controls.
• Build infrastructure, processes, and controls to support the next growth phase.
• Partner with CFO and senior leadership to provide financial insight and strategic input.
• Oversee month-end close, revenue recognition, audits, and internal controls.
