Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a licensed attorney to support contract and RFx review for enterprise and public sector work. You will perform legal and regulatory research, identify obligations, and translate guidance into clear contract language for business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes drafting and maintaining standard clauses, playbooks, and templates, with collaboration across Legal, Sales, Finance, IT/Security, and Operations to ensure audit readiness and scalable

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree required; must be a member of at least one state bar (California preferred).
Ability to perform legal/regulatory research and translate into business-facing summaries.
Experience in SaaS, cloud, data privacy, AI, and public procurement compliance.
Strong writing, issue spotting, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

Review RFx, contracts, and security questionnaires.
Provide concise summaries on evolving requirements affecting bids, contracts, and customer obligations.
Support contract and RFx review by identifying obligations; flag issues with escalation.
Draft and maintain legal-approved clauses, templates, playbooks, and matrices.
Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Finance, IT/Security, Operations to translate guidance into contract language.
Monitor marketplace requirements and improve contract frameworks and documentation.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
