Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking a Business Operations Manager (Contract) to support the Product Marketing organization in San Francisco, hybrid work setup. You will partner with Marketing leadership to drive strategic initiatives, planning, and performance tracking across pricing, packaging, segmentation, and go-to-market efforts.

This cross-functional role demands strong analytical skills, executive-level communication, and a proven ability to coordinate complex programs across functions.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, Marketing Operations, or related functions in a SaaS/tech company.
• Consulting experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Experience supporting senior leadership and executive-level presentations.
• Experience with planning processes, marketing metrics, product metrics, and financial modeling.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Marketing leaders to translate strategic plans into operational execution across pricing, packaging, segmentation, growth planning, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Coordinate and lead recurring business cadences including QBRs, roadmap reviews, business health reviews, and OKR tracking.
• Support annual planning cycles, executive reporting, and initiative tracking.
• Monitor business performance using product, marketing, and customer data and collaborate with Analytics and Finance to drive informed decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment and proactively identify operational risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
• Develop executive presentations and communication materials communicating business priorities and recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution and drive project delivery across stakeholders.
• Continuously improve operational processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
