myKaarma, headquartered in Long Beach, CA, seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to own month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting team leadership in a fast-growing SaaS environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years of people management experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge under U.S. GAAP.
• SaaS or subscription revenue experience is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Google Sheets; ERP experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred.
• Experience with workflow automation and accounting systems.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights with strong attention to detail; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Month-End Close and Technical Accounting across all major areas (AP, AR, revenue, inventory, R&D, fixed assets, accruals).
• Prepare, review, and approve complex journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled with proper documentation.
• Maintain and improve close timelines and efficiency; prepare accounting analyses and memos.
• Own Financial Reporting: produce monthly/quarterly/annual statements in U.S. GAAP; variance analysis; board-ready packages.
• Partner with FP&A for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Strengthen internal controls, SOX, and external audits; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Optimize ERP workflows (NetSuite; QuickBooks) and implement system enhancements.
• Lead and develop two to three accounting professionals; provide coaching and training.
• Support M&A due diligence, ad hoc projects, and investor reporting.
