Job summary

Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking Saab Direct Entry Captains to join our Vancouver flight crew. This permanent full-time position is based in Canada and emphasizes safety, professionalism, and seamless operations across our regional network.

Minimum qualifications include 2000 hours total time, 1000 PIC time, 1000 hours relevant experience, Canadian ATPL and Category 1 Medical, plus eligibility to travel to the United States.

Qualifications

• Total flight time of 2000 hours required.
• PIC time of 1000 hours required.
• 1000 hours of relevant experience required.
• Must hold valid Canadian ATPL and Category 1 Medical Certificate.
• Must be Canadian citizen or permanent resident or work permit holder for Canada.
• Ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Experience in multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR, or turbine operations (600/702/703/704/705).

Minimum Qualifications for Direct Entry Captains:

• 2000 hours total time
• 1000 PIC time
• 1000 hours relevant experience
• Valid Canadian ATPL
• Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card
• Must be Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident or, hold a valid permit to work in Canada
• Ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Relevant experience is considered to be multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR, and/or turbine experience in 600/702/703/704/705 operation.

• Hourly per diem rate of $5.10 per duty hour
