Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a COLUMBIA S1B Ship Design Program Representative in Groton, CT. The role focuses on design program oversight, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across engineering, finance, and NAVSEA stakeholders.

The candidate will communicate with contract leads and technical leads, manage program planning, and produce reports for reviews. A DoD clearance is required or obtainable, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering/technical, Finance or Management field.
• Two years of relevant program management experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance OR ability to obtain and maintain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the COLUMBIA S1B Design Program and manage funding, work planning, and scheduling.
• Communicate with contract leads, technical leads, engineering, and program management.
• Coordinate responses to emergent design issues and manage EVM metrics.
• Review statements of work for PO compliance and funding authorizations.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Program Reviews and customer interactions.
• Travel as required.
