Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks a Reactor Compartment and Engine Room Construction Program Manager in Groton to lead Columbia-class construction milestones for SSBN826 and related ships. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, approve key program decisions, and ensure safety, cost and schedule adherence while interfacing with the customer.

The role supports staffing growth to deliver SSBN826/SSBN827 modules and coordinates with the Columbia Construction Program Office through shipyard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years EB experience.
• 4+ years supervisory experience.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System.

Responsibilities

• Staff and empower direct-report and cross-functional teams.
• Execute EBP-02604 program management procedures in Groton.
• Approve critical program decisions on labor, safety, quality, cost and schedule.
• Continuously measure performance against the program plan and initiate corrective action.
• Represent EB to the customer for all program matters.
