Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks a Program Office Representative to support the COLUMBIA class program. You will coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply-chain teams, manage risk, and drive alignment to meet aggressive milestones and readiness dates.

The role involves multi-organizational collaboration, development lifecycle management from procurement through testing, and executive-level briefing support. A security clearance is required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate development, manufacturing, testing, and delivery of submarine components across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply-chain teams.
• Identify program-based and technical risks; support mitigation planning and recovery actions to maintain schedule and performance.
• Monitor critical component development efforts and drive improvements to readiness for shipyard needs.
• Participate in concept formulation, process development, and program strategy discussions; translate inputs into executable plans.
• Create and maintain integrated project schedules, budgets, and program performance metrics; prepare status updates for leadership.
