Job summary

Cydecor seeks an S&T Research Analyst for the ONR S&T portfolio to support Navy and Marine Corps programs with academia, labs, and industry. Deliver briefs, draft inputs for POM, and coordinate with ONR managers to resolve status and issues.

Requires a Master’s in science/engineering or PME with 15+ years in a related S&T discipline, plus 5+ years of program management support experience and DoD/DoW HQ exposure. Onsite with possible hybrid/telework; interim/active Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in science or engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Graduate-level professional military education (PME) in a technical or science curriculum is required.
• At least 15 years of experience in a relevant S&T discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and briefs for mid-level ONR executives.
• Prepare S&T-related drafts and recommendations for planning and resourcing decisions.
• Monitor ONR S&T programs for progress or issues tied to cost, schedule and performance criteria; identify issues and suggest remedies.
• Use ONR S&T remated tracking/recording and reporting tools.
• Ensure synchronization of information with other ONR entities.
• Monitor and document status and any changes in scope and/or progress to plan.
• Create and maintain detailed documents.
• Provide draft inputs to Congressional Exhibits and POM for government approval.
• Coordinate with ONR S&T managers to stay on top of status and issues for resolution.
• Identify S&T program deficiencies and recommend remedies.
• Conduct analyses of S&T project information to answer questions and support ONR analyses.
