Job summary

Cydecor is seeking an S&T Research Analyst to support the ONR S&T portfolio, collaborating with academia, government labs, non-profit organizations, and industry to address technology opportunities and solutions in basic and applied research, advanced technology development, and prototypes.

Responsibilities include preparing reports and briefs for ONR executives, drafting planning documents, monitoring programs, and ensuring synchronization of information with other ONR entities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in science or engineering from an accredited college or university, or PME in a technical or science curriculum.
• At least 15 years of experience in a relevant S&T discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of S&T technical experience in management support, planning, and execution of technology transition programs.
• Prior DoD/DoW HQ support experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and briefs for mid-level ONR executives.
• Prepare S&T-related drafts and recommendations for planning and resourcing decisions.
• Monitor ONR S&T programs for progress against cost, schedule and performance criteria.
• Identify issues and provide remedy recommendations to government management.
• Coordinate with ONR S&T managers to stay on top of status and issues for resolution.
• Identify S&T program deficiencies and make recommendations for remedy.
• Conduct analyses of S&T project information to support ONR analyses.
