Job summary

Plateco, Inc. in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Assistant to join on 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). You will load/unload trucks, move materials between production lines using forklift, and assist with receiving and shipments.

A dependable work history and safety mindset are essential. Experience in shipping/receiving or manufacturing is preferred, with training available for forklift use.

Qualifications

• Strong and dependable work history.
• Excellent attendance and reliability are required.
• Previous shipping/receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Ability to safely load and unload trucks and handle physical work.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be safety-minded and willing to follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials and finished products between Plateco production lines and designated locations while using a forklift.
• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist with receiving incoming materials and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Verify quantities and inspect materials and shipments for accuracy.
• Properly stage, organize, and secure materials for shipment.
• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork and documentation.
• Work with Production, Shipping & Receiving, and Management to keep materials moving.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the Shipping & Receiving Department.

Plateco is a growing plating facility in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and we are looking for an energetic, dependable, and motivated Shipping & Receiving Assistant / Truck Driver to join our team on 2nd Shift.

This is a hands-on position in our Shipping & Receiving Department. You will play an important role in keeping materials and finished products moving safely and efficiently throughout our operation.

What You'll Do:

• Overtime may be available based on business and customer needs.
