Job summary

Simplot Headquarters in Boise seeks a planning expert to produce and communicate 24-month S&OP pack plans each month, aligned with resources, customer service, and sales demand. This role serves as a subject matter expert on PPIC planning systems and will train and support the department while maintaining system setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year college or university.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• Less than 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct all monthly S&OP Pack Plans using mixed integer data models to support crop sanctioning, budget, and LRP processes.
• Perform analytical quantitative & data mining assignments to support S&OP and Supply Chain initiatives and improve reporting tools.
• Collaborate with IT to identify, develop and deploy new tools to better leverage software and improve decision making.
• Understand and maintain software to ensure we derive the optimal pack plan and schedule for changing business needs.
• Assist with the resolution of infeasible plans with PPIC staff and provide feedback on manufacturing limitations.
• Provide support for generating Master Production Schedules and maintain integrity between monthly and finite scheduling.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
