City Colleges of Chicago is looking for a S.O.A.R. Peer Mentor to support new and returning students by sharing experiences and assisting with their transition into college. Responsibilities include providing quality customer service, answering inquiries about admissions, and participating in college recruitment activities.

The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a High School Diploma, and active enrollment at Harold Washington College. The position offers a salary of $17.00 per hour and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older with work permit consent.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
• Must not be current employees of City Colleges of Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Act as student representative to prospective and current students.
• Provide quality customer service to CPS mentees.
• Answer student inquiries about admissions and student life.
• Participate in on-campus recruiting activities.
