RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest integrated healthcare system, is actively recruiting a board-certified physician for a full-time leadership role as the Vice Chair for Safety in Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. This pivotal position offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced physician to lead patient safety initiatives, oversee quality improvement efforts, and drive strategic programs aimed at achieving the highest standards in clinical care and patient outcomes.
As a key leader in the Department of Medicine, the Vice Chair for Safety in Medicine will provide strategic oversight and direction for quality and safety initiatives, collaborating closely with the Chair of the Department of Medicine and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Schissel. This role blends clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to shape safety protocols while maintaining a strong clinical presence.
