Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital in Sacramento is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team. The role supports outpatient and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry, with emphasis on client communication and high patient care.

This position is part-time with Mondays required and potential for full-time opportunities for the right candidate. Compensation ranges from $28 to $31 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing RVT in California.
• Familiarity with Cornerstone software; Fear Free Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Coordinate surgical and dental procedure schedules.
• Calculate and prepare anesthetic medications and dosages.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients.
• Monitor patient recovery and ongoing procedural care.
• Guide clients through admission and discharge with compassion.
