Job summary

Reidsville Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead, mentor, and develop our support staff. This role combines clinical anesthesia leadership with hands-on team mentoring in a busy, multi-doctor practice in Reidsville, NC.

The successful candidate will oversee anesthesia, surgical support, and mentoring of technicians and assistants, while collaborating with management on policy and culture to grow a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician license in North Carolina.
• Out-of-state license transfer eligible encouraged.
• Prior leadership/supervisory or mentorship experience preferred.
• High-level clinical skills plus leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical support across exam, outpatient, and surgical caseloads with the team.
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery; mentor others.
• Assist in surgery and dental procedures across a broad caseload including orthopedics, soft tissue, dentistry, and urgent care.
• Coach and develop technicians and assistants through ongoing feedback and training.
• Collaborate with management on policy, procedures, and team growth initiatives.
• Flex schedule to 2nd/3rd shifts for coverage and training.

Skills

5+ years veterinary tech experience

Active NC RVT license

Leadership/mentorship experience
