Oakridge Equine Hospital in Edmond, OK is seeking a full-time veterinary technician to support our busy twelve-doctor practice, rotating through anesthesia, ICU, and clinical services. You will deliver high-quality patient care and assist veterinarians with appointments, procedures, and treatments.
The ideal candidate has equine knowledge, strong communication and teamwork, and a proactive work ethic; prior anesthesia experience is a plus, with on-site training provided.

Oakridge Equine Hospital located in Edmond, OK is looking for a full-time motivated and energetic individual to support our busy and growing twelve doctor practice that includes 5 boarded equine surgeons, 1 boarded large animal internist and 6 veterinary interns. As a high-volume equine referral practice, we are seeking a candidate who can deliver excellent patient care, naturally has an eagerness to learn, and will grow with our team.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication, organizational and people skills. A background with equine knowledge is a must in addition to strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be someone who will demonstrate initiative and who can quickly grasp the day to day functions of a fast paced working environment.
As a veterinary technician at Oakridge Equine Hospital you will rotate through different services with each surgeon, our boarded internal medicine specialist, intensive care unit (ICU) and anesthesia. To be successful in this position the ideal candidate must be able to adapt from each service they are assigned to daily and have a strong desire to learn the ins and outs of each service they are on.
Previous experience with running anesthesia on horses is preferred. However, training will be provided on-site for candidates without previous experience.
