Kessen Veterinary Clinic in Delphos, OH seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to primarily support our companion animal team. The RVT credential in Ohio is required, along with AVMA-accredited VT training.

You will work in a collaborative setting providing high‑quality medicine and client education. Responsibilities include assisting with exams, surgeries, anesthesia, and dentistry; monitoring anesthetic procedures; collecting lab samples; and maintaining medical records while educating clients

Qualifications

• Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential in Ohio required.
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Experience monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgery and dentistry, performing lab diagnostics, and providing patient nursing care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry.
• Safely handle and restrain patients while administering medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Monitor anesthesia and provide attentive patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Collect laboratory samples, perform in-house diagnostics, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate clients on preventive care, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care and client service.
