Kessen Veterinary Clinic in Delphos, Ohio is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to support our companion animal team in a well established mixed-animal practice.

This RVT role emphasizes anesthesia monitoring, assisting with surgery and dentistry, in-house diagnostics, and compassionate client education.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential in Ohio.
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program.
• Experience monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgery and dentistry, performing laboratory diagnostics, and providing patient nursing care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and client education.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry.
• Safely handle and restrain patients while administering medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Monitor anesthesia and provide attentive patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Collect laboratory samples, perform in house diagnostics, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate clients on preventive care, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment.
• Collaborate with the entire veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care and client service.
