Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Registered Vascular Specialist to perform noninvasive vascular tests, set up equipment, collect patient data, and explain procedures. The role requires patient interaction, precise testing, and alerting physicians to abnormalities.

It is a day shift, full-time position within a patient-centric environment. The candidate will perform vascular tests, interview patients, and ensure proper positioning and operation of specialized equipment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with up to one year of basic technical training in allied health science and minimal on-the-job training.
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Certification required.

Responsibilities

Receives requests for procedures and arranges for patient testing with available supplies and equipment.
Interviews patients to gather medical information and performs physical examinations including blood pressure and limb assessment.
Explains test procedures to patients/family and assists in preparation for tests.
Determines patient and equipment positioning to obtain graphic responses and assists in lifting patients as needed.
Operates non-invasive vascular testing equipment and observes for abnormalities during procedures.
Notifies physicians or nursing staff of any irregularities observed during procedures.
