Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Texas is seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound studies under established protocols. The role supports evaluation and treatment of vascular conditions with independent judgment and attention to imaging quality.

Responsibilities include carotid, peripheral arterial, venous, and abdominal studies; documentation; and patient education. The position is full time, on-site, with a typical 8AM–5PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited vascular technology, medical sonography, or equivalent program required
• 1–3 years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred
• Lifesaving (BLS) certification may be required

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular ultrasound examinations including carotid, peripheral arterial, venous, and abdominal studies.
• Applies knowledge of vascular anatomy and physiology to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Ensures proper documentation and labeling of studies per departmental standards.
• Works independently on assignments with general guidance, elevating complex cases as needed.
• Interacts with internal staff and patients in a customer-service oriented manner.
