This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a RVP, Customer Growth based in the United States.

This is a senior sales leadership opportunity focused on driving regional growth for a leading cloud-based business platform.

You will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales organization while remaining actively involved in strategic customer engagements.

The role combines regional sales strategy, executive relationship management, account penetration, competitive positioning, and team development.

You will work directly with C-level decision-makers to articulate compelling business value and guide complex opportunities through to close.

Success will require strong commercial judgment, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to operate across functions, industries, and time zones.

You will also collaborate with alliance partners and internal teams to strengthen market presence and accelerate revenue growth.

The position offers significant visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape sales performance across a strategic U.S. region.

Accountabilities
  • Lead regional sales: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales organization across the assigned region while maintaining accountability for revenue and growth objectives.
  • Drive sales execution: Establish regional sales plans covering targeted accounts, sub-regions, and vertical segments, and ensure consistent execution against business priorities.
  • Coach and enable the team: Train sales professionals on sales processes, best practices, business-value selling, and Challenger-style approaches, while supporting onboarding, certification, and ongoing development.
  • Manage strategic opportunities: Engage directly with C-level prospects and decision-makers, develop executive-level proposals, position strategic value, negotiate effectively, and drive complex opportunities through closure.
  • Develop account strategies: Build account penetration models that create multiple avenues into strategic customers and identify opportunities for expansion, competitive displacement, cross-selling, and upselling.
  • Strengthen value messaging: Align messaging to the priorities of economic buyers and develop compelling value propositions based on customer business challenges and measurable outcomes.
  • Execute regional campaigns: Lead field sales campaigns targeting priority verticals and competitive take-out opportunities while adapting sales enablement content to regional needs.
  • Maintain sales visibility: Deliver regular regional sales updates and ensure Salesforce and other systems of record contain accurate pipeline, account, and forecasting information.
  • Build competitive advantage: Develop localized competitive positioning and messaging to help sales teams differentiate effectively in the market.
  • Collaborate across the ecosystem: Partner with internal functional and regional teams as well as in-country alliance partners to maximize customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Represent the region: Provide leadership, strategic insight, and executive presence across customer, prospect, partner, and internal stakeholder engagements.
Requirements
  • Sales leadership experience: 5–10 years of successful sales management and individual-contributor experience, including at least 3 years with the same organization and a demonstrable record of achievement.
  • SaaS expertise: Strong experience selling complex cloud-based or SaaS solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Commercial performance: Proven ability to personally deliver against sales targets while simultaneously recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing sales talent.
  • Strategic selling: Ability to identify complex customer challenges and translate them into compelling, differentiated value propositions focused on measurable business outcomes.
  • Executive engagement: Demonstrated success engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels, from functional leaders through C-suite executives.
  • Leadership and coaching: Strong ability to qualify opportunities, coach sales professionals, develop talent, and establish high standards of execution.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills, combined with a confident executive presence.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across functional and regional boundaries and coordinate with teams operating across multiple time zones.
  • Customer orientation: A strong customer-success mindset and the ability to build trusted, long-term executive relationships.
  • Technology proficiency: Comfortable using modern sales technologies and CRM platforms, including Salesforce.
  • Adaptability: Able to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment while balancing strategic planning with hands-on sales execution.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region and periodically to company headquarters in California for planning and training.
Benefits
  • Base salary: $182,000–$206,000 per year.
  • Wellness days: Two company-wide paid wellness days each year.
  • Birthday time off: One paid day off during your birthday month.
  • Volunteer time: 40 hours of paid volunteer time off annually.
  • Employee assistance: Free, confidential 24/7 support covering emotional well-being, work-life resources, financial guidance, legal assistance, and new-parent support.
  • Business travel protection: Travel assistance providing medical, safety, emergency, and pre-trip support during business travel.
  • Referral program: Monetary bonuses for successful employee referrals.
  • Healthcare and insurance: Location-specific benefits may include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as life and accident protection.
