Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer (level 5) in Clearfield, UT to lead sustaining engineering for the RVA program supporting ICBM missions. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, strong leadership, and solid data-driven decision-making capabilities.

You will oversee technical directions, coordinate with program management and government stakeholders, and deliver solutions that meet contract requirements while maintaining industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience; or master's with 10+; or PhD with 8+ years.
• US Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance, within scope, investigation in last 6 years.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and SAP approval.
• 5 years cross-functional leadership experience enabling data-driven decisions.
• 5 years experience aligning metrics across domains and reporting to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead RVA engineering team in design, development, and delivery meeting government requirements.
• Oversee technical direction of the program and coordinate with PMs, technical teams, and government.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks; drive solutions and ensure compliance with standards.
