Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Staff Systems Engineer (level 5) to lead the Remote Visual Assessment (RVA) engineering team in designing, developing, and delivering government-compliant solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, effective briefings to senior leadership, and collaboration with program managers, technical teams, and government customers to identify risks, drive technical outcomes, and maintain standards adherence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years experience; or master's with 10 years; or PhD with 8 years.
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance; Top Secret clearance possible later.
5+ years interfacing with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and manage metrics for data-driven decisions.
5+ years of experience developing and maintaining metrics across domains.
5+ years of experience analyzing data and briefing executive leadership on program performance.

Responsibilities

Lead the Remote Visual Assessment (RVA) engineering team in design, development, and delivery of solutions meeting government requirements.
Oversee technical direction of the program and coordinate with program manager, technical teams, and government to mitigate risks and ensure standards compliance.
