Job summary

Tulsa Tech is seeking a part-time Instructor for Recreational Vehicle and Small Trailer Backing. CDL is required and prior RV/travel trailer operation experience is essential.

The position is adjunct/temporary, with pay per hour. Ideal candidates will have classroom experience, promote professionalism, and align with the ACD program's mission.

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• Experience teaching adults preferred.
• Available to teach one-evening class once or twice a semester.
• Professional experience operating recreational vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to adult students in recreational vehicles and small trailer backing.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the subject matter.
• Instruct students using competency-based curriculum with current instructional strategies.
• Manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
• Maintain attendance, progress and grades per policy.
• Ensure syllabus, supply lists and lesson plans are current.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication.
• Support Tulsa Tech’s ACD program mission and goals.
• Participate in professional development as required.
