Job summary

General RV Center is seeking a technician to service interiors, exteriors, electrical, and plumbing on RVs. The role focuses on clear communication with customers about issues and repair steps, with RV-specific certifications provided by us.

You will be responsible for maintaining high quality standards and performing thorough inspections. Candidates should have hands-on experience in electrical/plumbing/carpentry, own a set of tools, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Prior technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is highly desired.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Reliable and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Servicing new and used RV interiors, exteriors, electrical and plumbing systems.
• RV certifications will be provided by General RV, not ASE certified.
• Explain technical issues clearly to customers and how repairs are performed.
• Meet the company standard of quality in every service.
• Inspect RVs thoroughly to ensure proper operation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing new and used RV’s. General RV Technicians do not service the chassis or engines, only interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing.
• RV specific certifications will be provided by General RV, do NOT need to be ASE certified.
• Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and how the issue can be repaired.
• Responsible for meeting the company standard of quality.
• Inspect RV’s thoroughly.
