Job summary

General RV Center in Michigan seeks a skilled RV Technician to service interiors, exteriors, electrical and plumbing on new and used RVs. Technicians do not service chassis or engines. Certifications will be provided by General RV.

You will explain issues clearly to customers and inspect vehicles to ensure quality and safety. Candidates should have experience in electrical, plumbing or carpentry, own their tools, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Prior technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is highly desired.
• Must provide own tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Service interiors, exteriors, electrical, and plumbing on RVs (not chassis/engines).
• Explain technical issues clearly to customers and how to repair.
• Meet the company standard of quality.
• Inspect RVs thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing new and used RV’s. General RV Technicians do not service the chassis or engines, only interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing.
• RV specific certifications will be provided by General RV, do NOT need to be ASE certified.
• Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and how the issue can be repaired.
• Responsible for meeting the company standard of quality.
• Inspect RV’s thoroughly.
